    Our crossing of the English Channel was over and we were in Calais! With no real plan set in place I had the first decision to make; North or South? the first night brought some hurdles, nerves & noises to overcome... and a slip up in mud. But each day that went by saw the solo vanlife travelling get easier and the distance to the next border close in.

    Late 2017, I knew something was wrong and that I needed a gearshift in my life but I wasn't sure what. This feeling lead me to a dream of leaving my job and touring around in a self-built campervan. My choice of van was... a little different.
