  • Bhagwan Ganapati or Ganesha is one of the most worshipped deities in India. The Temple is carved out of a single stone and has no pillars supporting the entire structure. The Temple faces south which is rare. The shrine was built in such a way that no room remains dark throughout the day even though it is a closed cave complex. According to it, Goddess Parvati performed penance here to become the mother of Lord Ganesha. Appeased, Lord Ganesha grants her wish and states that he will be born as her son. Eventually, on the day of Bhadrapada Shuddha Chaturthi, the Goddess created an idol of Lord Ganesha with dirt from her body. Lord Ganesha fused his life into the idol and came to be known as Girijatmaj. The word Ashtvinayaka is a Sanskrit word that means Eight Ganeshas. These eight temples are located in different places, and all of them are considered ‘Swayambhu’ or self-originated. These deities are “jagrut,” which means they fulfill the wishes of their devotees.  भगवान गणपति या गणेश भारत में सबसे अधिक पूजे जाने वाले देवताओं में से एक हैं।  मंदिर को एक ही पत्थर से तराशा गया है और इसमें कोई स्तंभ नहीं है जो पूरी संरचना का समर्थन करता है। मंदिर का मुख दक्षिण की ओर है जो दुर्लभ है। मंदिर को इस तरह से बनाया गया था कि एक बंद गुफा परिसर होने के बावजूद कोई भी कमरा दिन भर अंधेरा नहीं रहता। इसके अनुसार, देवी पार्वती ने भगवान गणेश की माता बनने के लिए यहां तपस्या की थी। प्रसन्न होकर, भगवान गणेश ने उसकी इच्छा पूरी की और कहा कि वह उसके पुत्र के रूप में पैदा होगा। आखिरकार, भाद्रपद शुक्ल चतुर्थी के दिन, देवी ने अपने शरीरपर लगी मिटटी  से भगवान गणेश की एक मूर्ति बनाई। भगवान गणेश ने अपने जीवन को मूर्ति में शामिल कर लिया और गिरिजात्मज के नाम से जाना जाने लगा। अष्टविनायक शब्द संस्कृत का शब्द है जिसका अर्थ है आठ गणेश। ये आठ मंदिर अलग-अलग जगहों पर स्थित हैं, और इन सभी को 'स्वयंभू' माना जाता है। ये देवता "जागृत" हैं, जिसका अर्थ है कि वे अपने भक्तों की इच्छाओं को पूरा करते हैं। Learn more about your ad choices.
