    How you think is a huge part of this process?

    1. If you don’t believe in yourself, that is a problem
    2. If you struggle with thoughts of quitting, that’s a problem
    3. If you don’t take your thoughts captive, that’s a problem
    4. If you struggle to maintain your focus, that’s a problem

    Mindset is how you control all of the things above and I want to take some time this month address these issues.

    It’s all about living out Romans 12: 1-2

    So for the next 30-45 days we are going to take a deep dive into your mindset.
    We are going to learn how to grow through what you go through.
    How to take your thoughts, feelings, emotions captive and make them obedient to Christ.

    We are going to learn how to set you mind on the things above…❤️🔥‼️
    So get ready and I encourage you to let these next few weeks really move you closer to who you’re trying to become.

    • Find 1 Discipline and let it attract better for you daily
    • Learn to hold yourself accountable to your standards
    • Grow through what you go through
    • It’s a lifestyle!!! So act accordingly
    • Knowledge is only powerful when you put it to work in your life
    • Journaling will help you stay focused and motivated

    How do you sustain this lifestyle?

    What goes in matters:

    1. Mouth- what you eat and drink has everything to do with what you get in return health wise. The ingredients have an agenda…
    • Medication 💊
    • Vitamins
    • Processed Foods
    • Fake sugars
    • Artificial Sweeteners (zero sugar & Diet)
    • Food colors (blue 4, yellow 5, red 40)
    • B12 is not your grandmothers B12
    • Seed Oils (canola, vegetable, sunflower) very inflammatory
    • The Dirty Dozen- toxic food ingredients

    2. Mind- how you speak 🗣️ to yourself what you feed you mind is extremely important to this process.

    3. Heart- hiding God’s word in your heart will change everything. It will fill you with a desire that will have a huge impact on what goes in your mouth. It will also change what you feed your mind with as well.

    What you allow to linger in your life will attract what supports that process.

    • If it’s negative- it will attract sickness, disease, hurt, pain to you daily and the ingredients will feed that process
    • If it’s positive- you will change your mindset to support that lifestyle and you will attract a better version of yourself in the process.

    How accountability can change everything?

    My Accountability Wall or Your Accountability Mirror

    How to build a self accountability wall/mirror?

    1. Sticky Notes
    2. Marker/Pen
    3. Space on your bathroom mirror or a wall you will see everyday.
    4. Goals or things you want to accomplish that support your 1 discipline

    Examples of what to put on your accountability wall:

    • 1 day of writing ✍️ in a journal
    • 3 days of writing ✍️ in a journal
    • 5/10/30 days of writing ✍️ in a journal
    • 5 days no smoking
    • 5 days no drinking alcohol 🥃
    • 15 days no coke/dr.pepper/pepsi
    • 15 days read my Bible
    • 5 days SOAP (Scripture/Observation/Application/Prayer)
    • 10 days of meditating on Gods word
    • 10 days of mental toughness (cold showers)

    Every goal you set and reach will build confidence for the next goal and so on…you will need confidence to help make the habit sustainable.

    Why do you need accountability?
    Because it will connect to your 1 discipline and they will form a bond that can’t be easily broken.

    Accountability is the difference is success and failure. If you struggle with self accountability no one will be able to hold you accountable, remember that.

    Everything I did fed that lifestyle. I was broken and letting my emotions lead my life fed that lifestyle everyday.

    It wasn’t until I was diagnosed with type two diabetes that I saw the need for change.

    God put a desire in my heart ❤️ that still beats for a healthy lifestyle…it’s who I am!!!

    What is pushback?
    Two types of pushback

    1. When we introduce change we experience pushback
    2. When we invite our old lifestyle back in (a cheat day) we experience pushback

    The first type of pushback is inevitable
    The second type is invited by us

    Pushback shows up because

    • We let our disciplines go
    • We had a cheat day
    • We let the wrong things linger in our life
    • We had a moment of weakness

    What would happen if we let

    • The Word of God linger in our life
    • Praise and Worship linger
    • A strong prayer life linger

    How would your life change if God was what you let linger in your life?
