    MY WHY:

Growing up on a large farm in the Midwest has given me inspiration to help others learn how to eat wisely and how to spend money sensibly on food. Currently I have a full time job working with children and a busy schedule. I enjoy doing this on the side, to help anyone find an ease in cooking.

I feel I’m relatable when it comes to all the above on what most of us are looking for in life. Delicious Homemade Spaghetti Meat Balls with a Twist use an Egg Carton

This week we are making Meatballs with a Twist 🍝 Paper Egg Cartons??!!
They are everywhere and we just throw them away or use them to plant starter seeds in the springtime right!! Spaghetti & Meatballs or Swedish Meatballs..... the healthy way!

You can use your marinara sauce that we made previously!! This is one of our favorite go-to dinners!! Best of all it only takes minutes to make!!

Sit back and relax, I have all the details right here for you! 🤓
Here's the recipe incorporating the ingredients & instructions:

    Ingredients:
    - 1-2 paper egg cartons.
    - 1-2 lbs of raw burger (or turkey)

    - 2 eggs (holds meat together and firms it up while cooking)

    - Cheese (any kind you like, shredded)

-Bread Crumbs (¼ cup) or Crushed Crackers (holds meat together and firms it up while cooking)

-Salt/Pepper (pink himalayan salt is what I use)

-Diced or Dried Onion, Green Onion, Garlic Powder, Italian Seasoning

    - Homemade red pasta, marinara sauce (or jar) link for that podcast https://www.buzzsprout.com/2353420/15127320-homemade-pasta-sauce.mp3?download=true

    Instructions:

    1. Mix all the ingredients (not the marinara) in a large mixing bowl

    2. Once mixed, roll your meatballs into a nice circle that will fit into the egg carton pod

    3. Bake (in egg carton), temperature set to 375- 400 for 15-20 minutes (160 internal)

    4. Pull out the cartons and remove the meatballs onto a plate add to your meal

    5. Most of all, you will be amazed at how the carton pulls the grease from the meat 👏🏼👏🏼

    4. SO DELICIOUS!! 🙂

This week we are making French Bread Pizza 🥖 You can use your marinara sauce that we made last week as well!! This is one of our favorite go-to dinners!! Best of all it only takes minutes to make!!

Sit back and relax, I have all the details right here for you! 🤓
Here's the recipe incorporating the ingredients & instructions:

    Ingredients:
    - 1-2 loaves of french bread, I like the $1 ones you can find, best price and work great.
    - 1 can of refried beans (if you are making taco pizza) add crunched up chips after baking

-1 jar of pesto (or fresh) if you are making mediterranean pizza

-1 homemade alfrado sauce (or jar) if you are making a white sauce pizza

    - Homemade red pasta, marinara sauce (or jar) link for that podcast on the homemade sauce https://www.buzzsprout.com/2353420/15127320-homemade-pasta-sauce.mp3?download=true
    - Meats (chicken, pepperoni, sausage, ham, salami, bacon, burger)

    - Veggies (basil, onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, jalapenos, banana peppers)

    - Fruit (tomatoes, pineapple, olives)

    - Cheese (any kind you like, shredded)

-Salt/Pepper (pink himalayan salt is what I use)

    - Olive Oil (just a swirl)

    Instructions:

    1. Slice your french loaf down the center with a bread knife (the long way) to open it up.

    2. Now if you have 2 loaves, you have 4 different types of pizza you can make!!

    3. Put your red, white sauce or beans on the bottom, add a small amount of cheese, then the toppings, then more cheese.

    4. Add a sprinkle of salt, pepper, and top off with some olive oil if you'd like

    4. Bake in the oven or the airfryer (I have to cut my loaves down to fit into my air fryer) for 8-10 minutes at 350.

SO DELICIOUS!! The best crust you have ever had and so so simple 🙂

This week we are making homemade pasta sauce 🍝
You can make it a marinara sauce as well!!
Our favorite versatile sauce!! Best of all it only takes minutes to make!!

Sit back and relax, I have all the details right here for you! 🤓
Here's the recipe incorporating the ingredients & instructions:

    Ingredients:
    - 4 tomatoes (roma is best for less juice & chunky, larger if you want more juice & chunky)
    - ¼ diced onion (shallot, white, red, chives - your choice)
    - minced garlic (fresh or jar)

-Oregano (fresh or dried few - more or less)

    - Parsley (fresh or dried - more or less)

-Salt/Pepper (more or less) I choose Pink Himalayan Salt

    - Olive Oil (just a swirl)

    Instructions:

    1. Remove all the skin from the tomatoes (hot water bath until skin shows a crack/wrinkles).

    2. Mix everything up in a blender until the texture you prefer

    3. You can make a large batch to separate (ziplocks work fine) and freeze. No need to heat up then freeze, just put in your bags and seal tight then place in the freezer.

Remember, cooking is all about personal taste, so feel free to adjust the ingredients and measurements to suit your preferences.
