The Canterbury Tales broke the literary mould in many ways. It established English as an acceptable language for literature, where previously it had been almost exclusively Latin or Norman French. It was also one of the first books to create a link between all the pieces of work in a literary collection.

No one really remembers why or when it started, but generations of people on both sides have lost so very much. Born into an influential family is Davros. Now aged 16, he is being pulled in various directions. His father wants him to follow tradition and go into the military.
