The bodies of two women have been discovered in the Brecon Beacons, badly beaten and buried shallow, and rumors of a trafficking ring are swirling. But when a crucial piece of evidence is accidentally destroyed, suspicion falls on those handling the case.

The National Crime Agency seizes control of the investigation, but the local police hide a vital piece of information: there is a third victim. And she's still alive.
