Set in the world of the Victorian professional and landed classes, the story centres on Mr Harding, a clergyman of great personal integrity who is nevertheless in possession of an income from a charity far in excess of the sum devoted to it.

Morris Duckworth can't get over Massimina, or Mimi, as he likes to refer to her. But then, he should have thought of that before he kidnapped and killed her. Wodehouse introduces us once again to the "wonder butler" Jeeves, who, as usual is able to solve any and all of Bertie Wooster's endless problems with ease and finesse. And he also introduces us to a character not dissimilar to Bertie . . . by name of Reggie. Such fun to follow Jeeves in the hijinks!

Every town has at least one beloved if misunderstood eccentric, and Beanie Bradsher belongs to Mayhew Junction. Some - LouWanda Crump, for example - would call Beanie a spectacle, but Beanie just marches - and dresses - to the beat of a different drum.

And, for the best possible motives, Psmith is also embroiled in a plot to steal Lady Constance Keeble's fabulous diamond necklace - an endeavour which brings him into conflict with both professional rivals.

Feuchtgebiete - nichts für zart Besaitete: Sex, Krankheiten, Körperflüssigkeiten - diese drei Stichworte umschreiben ganz gut die Themen, die den Hörer hier Minute um Minute beschäftigen. Nur, dass die Autorin von "Feuchtgebiete", Charlotte Roche, nichts umschreibt, sondern gern ins Detail geht. Die Handlung ist leicht erzählt: Ein junges Mädchen liegt im Krankenhaus, erzählt über ihre Fetische und Eskapaden und verliebt sich in den Pfleger. Eine an sich seichte Story, die dadurch interessant wird, dass die Autorin sie mit sehr anstößigen Erzählungen aus dem Leben eines schwer traumatisierten Mädchens spickt.
