In this episode, I'll explore the impact of office housework on women's career progression and share how organising a seemingly innocent Christmas dinner nearly tipped me over the edge...
Office housework refers to the non-promotable tasks and emotional labour that women often find themselves responsible for in the workplace. While these tasks are crucial for maintaining a positive work environment, they can be taxing and time-consuming, without providing any recognition or advancement opportunities. I'll look at some strategies that will help you to reduce the burden of office housework so you don't always have to be the one left holding the leaving card!
Plus as always I'll end the episode with a coaching question and this week it's all about helping you to say no to extra work that doesn't fit with your career goals.
