One of the best business books I’ve ever read

I don’t always leave reviews, but in this case I couldn’t stop myself. The lessons learned from this book are too many not to leave a good review. The money here was well spent. And I highly recommend this book to any business, marketing or sales professional, or any at all who want to presuasively influence their outcome (for good).

An intereresting topic diminished by the narrator

Read in the style of 1980's American business literature, this immensely interesting topic is somewhat diminished through the monotone style of the narrator. Found my mind wandering while listening, missing the point of the chapter and needing to listen again. Such an interesting topic though, that unfortunately loses impact due to the reader.

Narration is terrible

The awful narration completely spoils what could have been a great book, it's like listening to a cheesy infomercial or an 80's corporate training video

better than influencd

You can listen to this at 2x the speed and still get most of it. It is very easy to follow.
If you are deciding between this one and influence, don't, just read this one.

Mind blowing

Very easy to listen to and mind boggling at the same time.
I bought this book after purchasing INFLUENCE and the author takes it to another level explaining how unaware we are of the things that affect us.
I highly recommend!

Good book, but not groundbreaking

Lots of examples and stories combined with clear everyday language makes this book easy to understand. I think it's a must-read for anyone I interested in marketing, negotiation or motivation.

Great from Dr Cialdini as always

Exciting book I finished in a few days. Voice was engaging. Great people for young people to learn how to use persuasion tactically and ethically and also to learn how to not get deceived by advertisers. Highly recommended read 📚

If influence is interesting to you, devour this.

Robert Cialdini is, without doubt, a leading researcher and teacher in the area of influence. This book follows on very nicely from his classic text 'Influence: the psychology of persuasion.
If you don't know Cialdini, you don't know influence.

How did I manage before reading this book!?

An excellent book that perfectly complimented the previous book by the same author "Influence".
To tell you how good the book is, I will be reading it again in-shaa'Allah. Highly highly recommended because after absorbing the information within one becomes aware of our innate nature in decision making and how our decisions can be so easily persuaded by different contextual cues. We think we are making an informed choice based on our experience in life but actually we are highly vulnerable to decisions based on the immediately preceding context. Fascinating!!! I want to talk to people about this book!!

Ready didn't teach me anything new. Dissatisfied

Nothing new to me and poor fact checking. Really uninteresting and lack of any good to take away from the book.
