Fantastic Review of Past & Current State of Nutrition

Thank you T. Colin Campbell for research! So much written in this book is a review of past volumes but pulls everything together in a way that I can both process and recite easily to my family and friends. The information is read beautifully by the narrator. I will most definitely read this one again.

His problem is the problem he has with others

This book was extremely disappointing for a couple reasons. With his wealth of experience and background, I expected more data and more honest interpretation of data he too often put words into researchers mouth by over analyzing certain words to force a false emphasis and skew meanings. It waters down his point. The second disappointment is that he condemns the nutrition field because of personal, not science based, attacks. Every few minutes he then salvos several of his own personal based attacks at anyone who has ever “wronged” him by disagreeing or even just not putting as much emphasis as he did on plant based nutrition.

If you are a full fledged plant based zealot, look no further. This will be your new bible. If you are looking for a rational, fact based evaluation of a potentially useful diet, this book falls woefully short. It was brutal to get through and I would have quit if I was not determined to see another view.

Another Great

Another great book! Plant based diets are the future! Thank you T Colin Campbell! You may have save my life back in 2012 from a possible cancer diagnosis. The switch to a whole plant diet caused my blood platelets to raise significantly and stabilize in the healthy range. Thank you!

Timely AND Essential!

Mr Campbell has done it again!
This is the fourth book I’ve read by him and I cannot speak highly enough. If you are seeking truth, honesty and clarity about food, diet, and nutrition, look no further. This is the priceless pearl. In addition to that, his perspective on “Wholeness”, as it were, is refreshing, pertinent and timely.

Thank you Mr. Campbell for this book and all your work over the years. It has quite literally changed my life and that of my family🙏🏽

Another Excellent Read

If you've read and enjoyed The China Study and WHOLE, you will definitely want to read this book as well I loved it and read it in a day, I couldn't put it down.

This book explains what we've done wrong and how to put it right.

A bit tedious but good message in there somewhere

There were problems with the file downloaded as some sections of early chapters were blank. However these were during the most tedious sections. Dr Campbell is clearly on top of the details and it is distressing to learn just how shallow and blinkered business and government really is. Distressing but not surprising; money is persuasive. The biggest problem with this audiobook however is the poor narration. The narrator used an odd lightweight tone that clashed with the subject matter. And he misprounces words: fracas pronounced as fraycass for crying out loud! I will stick to Michael Greger.

Essential reading for health

Well written, well structured walk through on how society may improve its health. Every argument well made and counter arguments argued against. But too be expected from the eminent T Colin Campbell PhD

Unbias findings from an ethical man

Iv read all Campbell's books to date so I almost gave this one a miss. I did not want to hear the same information from a different angle.

However, this is a good read and worth the credit. Campbell really takes the gloves off and calls out the controlling institutes for what they are. These institutes are about hierarchy, money and controlling the history and information we get to read. It takes a brave honorable man to go against the grain.

We are coming into an age were information is rapidly being censored and those who dare to voice an opinion are being labeled lunatics.

Meanwhile cult like "group think" appears to be the order of the day. Implemented by those who are paid to obey orders rather than think for themselves.
