This week I am welcoming back my dear friend Zan to the show. In this episode we talk about how our habits, practices, and energy compound over time and shape us into who we are today. Zan speaks about the power of your word and how integrating prayer and movement can exponentially increase your wellbeing. We talk about cycles that we repeat over and over again and how to have more compassion with ourselves when we somehow end up in a place or habit we swore we were done with. Zan is one of my favorite people to dive deep with. We hope you find some spirit medicine in our conversation and when you do, share it with someone you love! If you love this podcast, you can support us by leaving a rating/review wherever you listen. Peace & Love to you and yours.

Mackenzie Carmichael is an Ayurvedic practitioner living in the mountains near Denver, Colorado. In this episode, Mackenzie and I explore themes around healing, rooted in deep self-discovery, reverence, and connection. Mackenzie tells us about how she is practicing being with her inner child as an adult woman and allowing all of herself to be present all of the time. She shares some of her Ayurvedic wisdom with us as we discuss the importance of self-care and morning rituals. We share the same sentiment that being well must include the practice of attuning to and communicating with our bodies and the Earth. Enjoy the episode and don’t forget to share it with a loved one!!

  • 7 Years Ago I Found My Mother Dead
    Oct 30 2025

This is my most vulnerable story. I chose to share it here in this way because both me and the story are ready and willing to share. Our stories are our offerings to this world and each other. Like Aisha Badru sings in her song Rooted, "Your story is your offering. You are here for a reason." Maybe someone will see themselves in a piece of my story and they'll feel less alone. Maybe you can't relate, but it sparks compassion in your heart. Or maybe it inspires you to share your story too.It is healing to tell our stories, to loosen our grasp on the hardest things we've been through, and to accept the knowing that we are not alone. It is medicine for the storyteller and the story receiver. May you find medicine in my story, and may you join me in believing in something better. Peace & Love.

Today on the show, we have Dariya Koncz from Finding Polaris. Finding Polaris is a wilderness skills and rites of passage non-profit located in northern Ontario. In this episode, Dariya and I discuss the importance of living a self-directed life, experiencing rites of passage, and nurturing our connection with nature. Dariya tells us what it's actually like living off-grid, a way of life that is often over-romanticized, although she does admit it most certainly comes with romantic moments! We talk about the simplicity found in a healthy lifestyle and how we ourselves are bodies of water. Dariya is a true gem, and this episode is so special. Enjoy and SHARE THIS WITH SOMEONE YOU LOVE!

This week is a fun and lighthearted conversation with one of my besties, Natalie Elliott. Natalie was on season 1, episode 6 to share all about her reclamation story, but today we are outing ourselves as closeted control freaks (at least I am) and talking about our journeys of softening in the places we were once rigid. After years of healing, we have both finally arrived at this place where we can just enjoy being human. Things get a little crazy as we spill our secrets around eating cookies and popcorn at the movie theater, and even enjoying a soda or a beer every now and then. *GASP* Come along for an episode filled with giggles as we explore themes like devotion vs discipline, rituals vs routines, modern beauty and hygiene standards, and sooo much more. Grab some popcorn and a soda and enjoy the episode!

    Sep 17 2025

In this episode, I share my personal journey of how I went from being depressed, unfulfilled, and unhappy, to falling in love with being alive, and how you can do the same for yourself. I talk about podcasting as a spiritual practice, the important role that people who have no clue what everyone is talking about play in society, and why we must reorient ourselves towards love and positivity and away from the ever-evolving and increasing stories of doom and horror. Listen til the end to receive a genuine, uplifting, and inspiring message from me. Spoiler: I believe in you, and you deserve to feel good about yourself and the world! Wow. This episode with Amana Be Love is a powerful one. Amana is truly a beacon of wisdom grounded by her experiences in life, death, birth, and grief. She is someone I look up to greatly and I feel so honored to have had the opportunity to interview her and hear her stories. We cover A LOT in these two hours, Amana shares her initiation and journey through motherhood, she graces us with all of her birth stories, including those stories of her babies who are not currently Earthside, and how she continues to mother them in spirit. Amana’s story is one of love, loss, death, grief, birth, rebirth, and rejoice. All the while, she continues walking this sacred spiral of life, gathering the medicine and the women along her way. What a blessing to be on the planet at the same time as this wonderful woman!
