A few years ago i tried to read it physically but couldn't past over chapter 8. But finally i read it. This audiobook is a blessing, really well done.

People who wants to read this try to educate yourself before going into the books about the storyline. Because the content is quite sensitive and bold. Some may find it Intimidating. But I liked the book more than the movie.

I know this book is controversial. There are endless debate about the red flags, abuse and all. But still i enjoyed it very much. I could not put it down. Our lives are not perfect. You could understand Anastasia her joy her desires her agony and also hate Christian side by side. These imperfections makes it quite relatable.
Definately this book is not for everyone. If you like character driven, plot oriented story stay clear from this one. It is not a good book but still it holds the appeal to me. There are many moments which i liked and many other i hated vehemently. But this is how our life feels isn't it!!?? The intimacy will make you flush and the bitterness and the humiliation of it will make you cringe.

What i don't like about this book is its repeated cursing and repeating words. Sometimes it was unbearable.

Couldn't listen to that voice... I think I still have Dakota Johnson's voice in my head when Anna's character is being played.
comparing to that..this voice is very shrill.

Love the novel but hate the narrator

The story is totally captivating and erotic. It captures the innocens of Anna and her craving for love. Though I felt like the email conversations in story telling part could be edited because it's where it sounded boring. I am looking forward to complete the series.

Loved it. Great voice, proper speed and accuate pronounciation. Feelings are added in audio at right time. Sobbing voice at the end was a great touch.

the narrator is excellent but the scenes described in the book are pretty predictable which made it monotonous. however the abrupt ending is something that I was not prepared for. on completing the book there is this feeling of yes I have finished it too, nothing more. overall it makes something just above average literature.
