Story
It's been centuries since the robots of Panga gained self-awareness and laid down their tools; centuries since they wandered, en masse, into the wilderness, never to be seen again; centuries since they faded into myth and urban legend. One day, the life of a tea monk is upended by the arrival of a robot, there to honor the old promise of checking in. The robot cannot go back until the question of "what do people need?" is answered. But the answer to that question depends on who you ask, and how.

Story
Is it possible to write a sidesplitting novel about the breakup of the perfect marriage? If the writer is Nora Ephron, the answer is a resounding yes. For in this inspired confection of adultery, revenge, group therapy, and pot roast, the creator of Sleepless in Seattle reminds us that comedy depends on anguish as surely as a proper gravy depends on flour and butter.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Everybody knows Daisy Jones and the Six.
Their sound defined an era. Their albums were on every turntable. They sold out arenas from coast to coast.
Then, on 12 July 1979, Daisy Jones walked barefoot onto the stage at Chicago Stadium. And it all came crashing down.
Everyone was there.
Everyone remembers it differently.
Nobody knew why they split. Until now . . .

Great listen!
Fantastic performance! Wish the story was a little less about love towards the end and more about the band

Yes It's worth the hype 🙌
going into it , I was not expecting a bit that I would be involved in it at all as it's about some band and It might not intrigue me enough but I was wrong.
I am feeling that I have lived with them throughout their journey and felt everybody's bitter sweet life.
The way its written gives a feel that you are in a room surrounded by bunch of people who are telling you their perspectives on situations that they faced together and how being together they had their sperate visions and how they took the stardom.
It was a great journey and I did teared up at some point of time because it did break my heart. sometimes reality is ruthless and sometimes you have to face it anyway. it was all a fiction but so much of reality in it that I felt like I have too lost something to gain something.

Not just one way to describe it
Everything together is so so powerful, it can get you to cry. I find it has all of it; all of life imbued into one book. The characters will never leave you...Daisy Jones' life is one journey we take. The Six are a band destined for more than shallow greatness. The story is narrated differently than any other I've come accross and the voices themselves are as perfect as it gets. I can't truly describe it. This book can't be described by one single idea. The multiple perspectives allow for unimaginably unique interpretations and the ending just grasps you. Don't think too hard and just go for this colossal ride and know it for yourself. Maybe that's what the book is really about...

Excellent performance
Had I picked this book off a shelf, I wouldn't have loved it so much. I might not even have got past the first few pages. It didn't grip me like Malibu Rising.
But this performance; wow!! Each character is casted perfectly and they delivered perfectly too. You could hear the sadness, the tension, the misery, the pain, hope, and plenty more through their voices. Would recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of dramatized narrative style.
